Island Šćitna

Šćitna is a small, private, and untouched island in the heart of the Adriatic, nestled between Pašman and Žut. With only two houses spaced 100 meters apart, it offers complete privacy and tranquility, perfect for couples, families, or small groups. Free from shops and crowds, guests can enjoy crystal-clear waters, hidden coves, and pristine beaches, or simply relax on the terrace and watch breathtaking sunsets – an authentic Adriatic experience in total peace and natural beauty.

House LUEL

The house features two bedrooms: one with a double bed and an additional fold-out armchair for one person, and the other with two single beds. The living room includes a sofa bed that can comfortably accommodate two people. The kitchen is fully equipped with a sink, worktable, stove with oven, gas fridge, and freezer, while the bathroom includes a WC. Please note that the indoor shower has very low water pressure, making it difficult to use, so showering is recommended using the outdoor shower. Guests can enjoy a large terrace with breathtaking sea views, as well as a private beach with boat mooring, an outdoor shower, a garden, and a BBQ area. The house is powered by a 220/12V solar electricity system, and rainwater is used in the kitchen and bathroom. While there is enough water and electricity for everyday use, guests are kindly asked to use both water and electricity responsibly. The property is pet-friendly, with pets welcome for a fee of €10 per day.

Check-in & Check-out Information

If you are arriving with your own boat, check-in is available from 14:00 h. If you are using our transfer, departure from Murter is from 7:00 AM, and check-in is upon arrival on the island. Please note that you may need to wait up to two hours while the house is being prepared. During this time, you are welcome to swim and enjoy the beach, but staying inside the house is not allowed until everything is ready.

If you are departing with your own boat, check-out is at 10:00 AM. If you are using our transfer, we arrive at the island at 10:00 AM. By that time, all your belongings must be moved out of the house. You will need to wait approximately 2 hours while we prepare the house for the next guests. During this time, you can relax on the beach, swim, or sunbathe, but staying inside the house is not permitted.

*** Rentals are available from Saturday to Saturday for stays of 7, 14, or 21 days. Exceptions may be possible, though not during high season. The listed prices are for 4 guests, with a maximum capacity of 7 guests. Each additional adult guest is charged €15 per day. Pets are welcome with an additional charge of €10 per pet, per day.

TRANSPORT

We provide transport from the island of Murter (town of Murter) to the island of Šćitna. The transfer is organized with a traditional wooden boat called a gajeta, and the journey takes approximately 2.5 hours in one direction. In case you book our transfer, it is recommended to start as early as possible, ideally between 7:00 and 9:00 in the morning.

If you are looking for peace and seclusion, this is the place to be! A motorboat with a few more ps doesn’t hurt if you want to take a trip even with more restless waves or have to go shopping! We drove to Tkon for this. Dolphins have also swam past not far away too! At the beginning of September, it was no longer so hot on our vacation, which is why you only have lukewarm water to shower. But if you know these types of houses, you know that you have to give up a little luxury for the incomparable tranquility. The landlords were very helpful and easily accessible if we had any questions! All in all, the location is wonderful to explore the surrounding islands by boat from here and then relax comfortably!
